Patriarcado, c. XVIII
Baroque ecclesiastical palace, João Frederico Ludovice
Patriarcado presents a rectangular floor plan, with a main façade distinguished by the erudite use of baroque architectural vocabulary, particularly evident in the axis defined by the main entrance. Inside, the atrium and the monumental staircase stand out as the primary spaces of the ensemble. The walls are clad in stone, interspersed with stucco moldings, white-painted stucco moldings with reliefs, and on the exterior, white and blue painted stucco with decorative reliefs.
