The architectural project is set within the Caldes de Malavella golf course, located on the Costa Brava in Catalonia. With a program comprising a 50-room resort hotel, common areas, and parking, the building occupies a plot in the form of an irregular five-sided polygon, bordered to the east and south by land designated for the golf’s sports facilities.

The new volume is positioned on the site, tracing in plan a perfect arc of a circle, centered on the north–south axis of the plot and slightly inclined toward the west. This arc-shaped geometry ensures optimal and equitable sunlight for all hotel rooms and guarantees the privacy of the terraces, while also offering excellent views over the golf course and reinforcing the dialogue between interior and exterior.

On the ground and first floors are the hotel’s 50 rooms, 25 on each level, arranged in a fan-like layout with terraces facing east and accessed from the opposite façade through an exterior corridor.

Below grade, the program is completed with a bar-restaurant, a porch with terrace and swimming pool, kitchens, parking, staff areas, and technical rooms.
